Setting up forwarding
Forwarding can be set up for existing mailboxes. To do this, click on the “Set up forwarding” button in the “Forwarding” data box in the details of a selected mailbox.
In the edit view that follows, click on one of the two options for forwarding to a mailbox within your organization (“Forwarding to a user mailbox”) or for forwarding to an external contact (“Forwarding to a contact”).
You can then select a user or contact for forwarding from the respective drop-down list. To simplify the selection, you can filter the drop-down list by entering characters. Just type in the name of the required user or contact. The selection is immediately filtered for your input.
The option “Keep copy in mailbox” allows you to specify whether a copy of the forwarded email is kept in the inbox of the actual mailbox recipient. Finally, confirm your entries by clicking on the “Save” button.
