Creating a new domain

To create a new domain, click on the “Create domain” button in the domain overview.

In the following dialog, you can create a new domain and specify its properties. Please enter the domain name without the “http://www.” prefix. Besides the so-called 2nd-level domains (e.g. “Domain.de”), you can also use subdomains in the form “marketing.companyname.de”. Please note that you cannot use domains with umlauts (Ä, ä, ö, etc.) as SMTP domains and thus the SMTP option cannot be used.

In order to be able to use Microsoft® Exchange services (sending and receiving of emails) with a newly created domain, the domain must be set up as an SMTP domain and then verified by you. The verification checks whether you are authorized to administrate the domain. In order to be able to receive emails for one of your domains, you must also modify the MX record in your DNS.
