Change password

To change a password, you first need to enter the old password and then the new password and a repeat of the new password.

Please be sure to choose a secure password. In order to guarantee the security of passwords, either the default settings or the settings you have saved by specifying your own password rules in the system are applied.

The following safety recommendations and conditions apply for the default settings:

A password should not contain your first name, last name or login name;

The minimum length is 12 characters;

It must include three of the following four character types:

• Upper-case letters (A–Z)
• Lower-case letters (a–z)
• Numerals (0–9)
• Non-alphanumeric characters (such as !,”,§,$), extended-ASCII-set characters, symbols or linguistic characters.

These default settings are checked when a new password is assigned, and an error message is displayed if the new password does not satisfy the default settings. You can define your own password security parameters by specifying your own password rules, and these are then checked when the password is assigned.
