Activation of the MS push service on your mobile device

The “Microsoft Push” option permits wireless access to your Microsoft® Exchange mailbox via ActiveSync/Push technology. The use of this service requires a mobile device with the Microsoft Mobile 5 operating system or higher, or iPhone 3G or higher.

Once your company administrator has created an Exchange L mailbox for you in Cloud Manager, you can immediately set up your mobile device for Microsoft ActiveSync in accordance with the documentation of the mobile device’s manufacturer – usable with all mobile devices with Windows Mobile Client, version Windows Mobile 5.0 or later, and the Microsoft Messaging Security Feature Pack.

The server, username, domain and password will be requested for this – use your Microsoft® Exchange login/access details for this.

Example:

  • Server address: email.telekom-cloudcenter.de
  • Domain: (not required)
  • Username: Your Microsoft Exchange username (login details)
  • Password: Your personal password.

For incoming emails to be received automatically by your mobile device, you need to check the “Save password?” box during the setup of the mobile device.
