E-Mail encryption

You do not need any additional software or certificates to use email encryption.

To send an e-mail encrypted, please mark it with “Confidential” in the message options. In Outlook-on-the-Web (OWA) you will find this option under “Show message options …” when creating a new email.

Then choose Confidentiality in the Message Options.

Emails that have been marked as “confidential” are sent to the recipient in encrypted form. The e-mail is encrypted directly via the Telekom Cloud platform via a dedicated e-mail encryption gateway.
