{"id":1726,"date":"2017-08-07T12:59:31","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T12:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.telekom-cloudcenter.de\/?page_id=1726"},"modified":"2017-11-30T08:35:11","modified_gmt":"2017-11-30T08:35:11","slug":"wichtige-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/help.telekom-cloudcenter.de\/index.php\/service\/wichtige-information\/","title":{"rendered":"Important information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No more support for Windows XP and IE 6 \u2013 Technical background<\/p>\n<p>A cipher suite is a standardized collection of cryptographic methods, such as for encryption.<\/p>\n<p>In the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol (formerly SSL), the cipher suite determines which algorithms are to be used to establish a secure data connection.<\/p>\n<p>The cipher suite identifies a combination of four algorithms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Key exchange<\/li>\n<li>Authentication<\/li>\n<li>Hash function<\/li>\n<li>Encryption<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The encryption algorithms offered and their sequence are decisive in the configuration of the cipher suite. The algorithms used in communication are negotiated between the client application and our services.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of August 2017, the following cryptographic procedures for access to all services were disabled:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RC4<\/li>\n<li>DES \/ Triple DES<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This means that the corresponding cipher suites can no longer be used to establish a secure data connection.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No more support for Windows XP and IE 6 \u2013 Technical background A cipher suite is a standardized collection of cryptographic methods, such as for encryption.
