Then click on the \u201cEdit\u201d button (pencil icon) in the \u201cMailbox data\u201d data box.<\/p>\n<p>The edit view shows you the current settings of the mailbox. You can use the following editing options depending on the mailbox type:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Addition and removal of email addresses (alias addresses)<\/li>\n<li>Modification of the primary email address as the sender address for sending emails<\/li>\n<li>Disabling\/enabling of add-on and configuration options depending on the existing (available) usage authorizations<\/li>\n<li>Disabling\/enabling of the option to hide the mailbox in your organization\u2019s global address list<\/li>\n<li>For shared mailboxes: Modification of user permissions<\/li>\n<li>For resource mailboxes:<\/li>\n<ul>\n<li>Change the description<\/li>\n<li>Change the administrator<\/li>\n<li>Change the resource type<\/li>\n<li>Change the capacity<\/li>\n<li>Change the ability for overbooking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Caution: If you mark another, new email address as the primary email address, emails may be undeliverable for a few minutes because this address must first be registered in the system.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, confirm your changes by clicking on the \u201cSave\u201d button.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To edit a mailbox, first select the required entry in the mailbox overview by clicking on the respective row.
