This will take you to the editing view for creating a new contact. Mandatory fields marked with \u201c*\u201d must always be completed. The data recorded will then be visible for all users in the company address book.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Contact Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can enter the general (private) details of a contact in the \u201cContact data\u201d section. After entering \u201cFirst name\u201d and \u201cLast name\u201d, a suggestion will automatically appear in the \u201cDisplay name\u201d field; you can change this as necessary.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Contact addresses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In addition to the external email address as the destination address, each contact also has an internal email address. The domain part (all characters after the \u201c@\u201d symbol) is specified and cannot be changed. As with any email address, you can freely define the local part (all characters before the \u201c@\u201d symbol).<br \/>\nIn this case, the purpose of the internal email address is to accept emails to this contact on the Exchange system to be able to process them further. The external email address is used as the forwarding destination. Subsequently you will always be shown the internal email address in displays of the contact details, such as in the Outlook address book. Emails will continue to be sent to the contact\u2019s external email address.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Company data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is where you record the contact\u2019s business details.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Contact properties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is where you choose whether the contact\u2019s details are to be displayed in the global address list.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Save contact data \/ cancel contact Setup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Click on the \u201cCancel\u201d button to cancel a new contact setup. This will then take you back to the overview of your external contacts. Click on the \u201cSave\u201d button to save the entered data. If there is an input error, the input field causing the error will be flagged. Hover your mouse over the icon for the flagged field to get a detailed error notification.<\/p>\n<p>Note: You can use the \u201cImport larger number of contacts\u201d function to automatically <a href=\"https:\/\/help.telekom-cloudcenter.de\/index.php\/produkte\/microsoft-exchange\/kontakte-importieren\/\">create multiple new contacts<\/a>. There is a button for this function right at the top of the form for creating contacts.
